Pop Up Belly Dance Class (June 19th)

$15 non-members, $10 members

Beginner friendly belly dance class coming to Suspend! Grab a hip scarf or something to accentuate your hips, and get ready to move! Dress comfortably and bring water and friends too! Class will be led by Istra.  

Istra is a performing artist based out of Louisville, KY. She has 10 years of belly dance experience and prior to dancing, Istra spent many years on the stage as an actor and has a minor in Theatre Arts from the UofL.  Istra has performed regionally at events such as Windigo Fest (WI), An Evening of Doum (IN), Zahara’s Elegant Creatures (OH), Lexington Comic & Toy Con (KY), Louisville Zombie Walk (KY), Dead of Night and the Dark Market (KY).  Additionally, she produces dance and variety shows, such as Love Bites, Creatures of the Night, and Halfway to Halloween.
